Welcome to 19.3! When this WOD was announced on Thursday night I was excited about the handstand pushups… Not that I can actually do them but a skill I have been personally working on. I could not do a handstand over a year ago. I did not have the strength and was afraid I would fall. Fast forward to the last few months and I am happy to report I can get up into a handstand without issue. This WOD was a doozy and written as follows:
As it says, this is the MASTERS version but a 20 lb dumbbell above my head was not going to happen. I scaled it down to a 10 lb dumbbell to make it doable for me #franweight I was determined to get to those handstand pushups so I powered through the 200′ overhead lunge walk with that dumbbell.

I have never done box step ups with a weight before. I kept the 10 lb dumbell. That was no joke and very challenging but I powered through again.
And then my favorite part… the handstand pushups. I have been really working on getting my inverted self down and pushing back up but right now that looks like a ‘pulse’ but it’s progress and that is what matters…. progress.
And these are my badass friends that killed this workout as well! We all have goals and we all put forth our best effort because at the end of the day that’s what its all about. Being the best version of YOU!!!
And then there was this craziness! We have a bunch of fun at 7:30 in the morning!
And then more fun with dressing up 80s style for extra spirit points! I think we nailed it! I think this was my most favorite picture of the day!
Here’s to the strong women that crushed 19.3 yesterday for International Women’s Day! Each one is different and special in their own way and that’s what makes them powerful!
Don’t ever let anyone tell you, you can’t do something. Prove them wrong! Because at the end of the day, you can do anything you put your mind to 🙂

Have a fantastic weekend!
